The city of Kota Kinabalu houses numerous resorts and hotels that one can indulge in. the city’s world class tourism facilities have been commendable thus far. A short drive out of the city which would definitely be worth is Karmabunai. Located about 30 kilometers from the city, the Nexus Resort Karambunia and the Karambunai Resorts Golf Club awaits. Anybody who have been here would stand testimony that would attract just about anyone else. Whichever resort you might choose, you will find this area one of the most beautiful resorts you will ever go to. A half an hour drive from Kota Kinabalu, or an estimated RM70 taxi ride will land you in one of the top ten beach resorts in the world, as believed. For the golfer enthusiast, the 18 hole golf course would definitely stand as the main attraction. What other aura would anyone ask for to swing your clubs underneath one of the most beautiful sunsetting sceneries in the world. From here, you can also go island hopping to Sapi and Gaya islands. Like most islands around Sabah, you will find white sandy beaches and enjoy the sea breeze just towing by your skins. The most important thing you should do at Karambunai perhaps would be to take a walk at the beach prior to sun set. This is where you will be able to witness the changing of the ever colourful skies, the setting of the blaring sun, beginning to hide between the clouds and eventually into the sea. Watching the skies itself is a joy at times, with thunderous looking clouds, heavily woven in cotton wool style. Coupled with the purplish and orangey mix, the urge to snap pictures and keep these memories forever constantly bugs you. You will for sure.
